Techo Takhmao International Airport has achieved a 55% result and will be completed by the end of 2024. This is according to Mao Havanall, minister in charge of the Secretariat of Civil Aviation, leading a delegation of the technical working group to inspect the progress of the construction project of the airport on November 22, 2023.

HE Mao Havanall inspected the construction site of the passenger terminal, the construction of the runway, and the construction of the flight control tower, as well as general infrastructure.

On this occasion, he highly appreciated the progress of the construction of Techo Takhmao International Airport and confirmed that the construction has progressed and completed 55%, and he hopes to be able to complete the construction by the end of 2024 in the near future.

Please be informed that the construction of Techo Takhmao International Airport in Kandal and Takeo provinces, 20 km south of Phnom Penh, on an area of ​​2,600 hectares, will be completed in 2024 and officially launched starting 2025. If nothing changes, it will be able to receive giant aircraft carrying international passengers across the globe to Cambodia, and this will also make it easier for foreign investors who want to invest in Cambodia.
